Third-Party Artificial Intelligence (AI) Data Processing & Disclosure

Our mobile application, Lens & AI Image Identifier (Lens-AI), utilizes advanced third-party Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning services provided by Google LLC (specifically Google Cloud AI, Google Cloud Vision, and Gemini API) to perform visual object recognition, image analysis, technical/nutritional specification lookup, text translation, and interactive AI assistant chat responses.

1. Data Collected & Processed for AI Services

Visual Data: User-captured photos, cropped image regions, and photos selected from the user device photo library.
User Input Data: Text prompts, search queries, and questions submitted to the AI assistant within the Application.

2. Transmission & Purpose of Processing

When You capture a photo or submit a query within the Application, this data is transmitted over secure, encrypted HTTPS connections directly to Google AI (Gemini API) and Cloud Vision servers for real-time computational analysis. The data is used solely to generate visual recognition results, compute item specifications, and formulate interactive AI responses for You within the Application.

3. Data Protection & Third-Party Standards

We strictly protect Your privacy and enforce data safety controls:

No Advertising Tracking: Data transmitted for AI processing is never sold, rented, or used for cross-app advertising tracking, profiling, or targeted marketing.
No Unauthorized Retention: Transmitted visual data and queries are processed solely to return instant analysis results and are not stored permanently by Us for unauthorized purposes.
Equivalent Data Protection: All third-party AI service providers employed by the Company (including Google LLC) adhere to rigorous industry security standards and provide equal or equivalent data protection levels in full compliance with Apple App Store Review Guidelines.
Explicit User Consent: Before any image or text data is transmitted to third-party AI services for processing, the Application presents a clear privacy notice and requires Your explicit consent ("Agree & Continue").
